SELEUKID KINGS. Antiochos I Soter, 281-261 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 17.00 g, 10 h), Seleukeia on the Tigris, circa 278-261. Diademed head of Antiochos I to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - ANTIOXOY Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding two arrows in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to outer left, monogram of ΠΑ; to outer right, monogram of ΗΡ. SC 378.3. Boldly struck and with a particularly attractive portrait. Some minor roughness, otherwise, good very fine.
